Wild Australia
Australia is world famous for its natural wonders: wide open spaces, its beaches, deserts and "the Outback". It is the oldest, flattest and driest inhabited continent on earth with the least fertile soils. Yet despite this, its size provides the intrepid traveler with a wide variety of landscapes from deserts, to tropical rainforests, to mountain ranges. Australia has a unique fauna because it was geographically isolated from the rest of the world for very long periods allowing for various species to evolve in distinctive ways.
